Have you always been curious about how cell phones and computers work and how they are manufactured? Here, you have the opportunity to learn about the research and development process in the semiconductor industry.
On April 23rd we open our doors at NaMLab for the Girl’s Day in order to dive into the exciting and challenging world of micro- and nanoelectronics. Discover our clean room and learn about the diverse work in the fields of electrical engineering and microelectronics. What role do new materials play in electronics development? Does an electrical engineer really spend all day tinkering with equipment? And what does a microtechnologist actually do?
On the occasion of Girls‘ Day 2026, we warmly welcome you and invite you to explore our research institute, which focuses on the theme “Think Big – Make Nano.” Discover career fields that not only offer excellent job opportunities but are also extremely fun!
We offer an introduction to the work of NaMLab and the importance of microelectronics in our lives. To make the day interesting, experimental demonstrations with manufacturing techniques and physical and electrical characterizations are planned.
If you would like to learn more about what to expect on this day, watch our YouTube video.
If you want to take part, we look forward to your registration here.
This offer was organized in cooperation with the collaborative research center Active-3D.
