On December 10th the Quantz project was kicked off at NaMLab gGmbH. Together with the partners from Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR), Chair of Circuit desidn and Network Theory (CCN), Technische Universität Dresden, and wiatec gmbh the team aims to develop new resonant tunnelling devices for ultra low-power electronics. Especially everyone was happy to have Dr. Ulrich Wulff from Brandenburgische Technische Universität Cottbus-Senftenberg in the team, who presented a keynote on the underlying quantum mechanical operation of the new concept. Looking forward to a great collaboration. The project is co-financed by the European Union and from tax revenues on the basis of the budget adopted by the Saxon State Parliament.
